Dr. Teuscher obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) in 2000 and 2004 respectively. His main research focuses on next generation computing architectures and paradigms. His work includes researching intrinsic memory in Spiking Neural Networks and engineering digital designs for FPGAs. He has previously worked in software engineering and web development, and got his first hands-on experience at the command line while volunteering at Free Geek in SE Portland.
