Each year, the organizing, advisory, and topic area leaders select one or two first-time participants who most clearly represent the collaborative spirit and energy of the workshop. The honor is bestowed at the final banquet.

Ty Wins Best Poster Award

Former NSF REU site and tlab student Ty Lazarchik won the best poster award for Public Transportation Planning and Development at the 99th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board.

Roshell wins award

Roshell Lamug, former REU site student and teuscher.:Lab summer intern received an award for her oral presentation on “Simulation and Analysis of Self-Assembled Silver Nanowires” at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS). The conference was held in Indianapolis, IN, Nov 14-17 and was attended by over 2,500 STEM students.
