OPENING: REU SITE PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking an undergraduate student administrator to help us run the NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Site on “Computational Modeling Serving the City.”

AS AN REU SITE PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR, YOU WILL:

  • Communicate with potential and admitted students via e-mail and phone
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts
  • Design and maintain online application forms
  • Prepare application packages for review
  • Plan and organize meetings and events
  • Arrange student travel, lodging, transportation
  • Analyze and visualize data
  • Prepare flyers, presentations, and advertising materials for the program
  • Maintain the WordPress website

Roshell wins award

Roshell Lamug, former REU site student and teuscher.:Lab summer intern received an award for her oral presentation on “Simulation and Analysis of Self-Assembled Silver Nanowires” at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS). The conference was held in Indianapolis, IN, Nov 14-17 and was attended by over 2,500 STEM students.

Former tlab summer and REU intern Roshell Lamug’s work on the “Simulation and Analysis of Self-Assembled Silver Nanowires Networks” was accepted at the 2018 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS). Congrats!
